Even if you could walk me through modifying a license file somehow manually via notepad or something rather than completely starting over with a fresh Windows 10 and then reinstalling every other application and all my data. I just need to get to an interface where I can type in my serial number. Both before and after all this uninstalling and reinstalling the result is exactly the same. The problem is I never got one as where the serial number should be it tells me to sign in when I'm in Maya (I was on the student version prior so I know how to sign in) but I can't sign into Maya because Maya won't open without a serial number which I was never given because apparently I just need my Autodesk ID to use my license. You need a valid serial number and product key to generate a request. I just got a subscription for Maya 2018 and downloaded it but before it lets me do anything, I need to enter a serial number. Note: Request codes and manual activation are required only for perpetual license software.
